AoA Video Joiner can help you combine several video clips into a larger file, even if the source files are in different formats. There is one word to describe AoA Video Joiner’s interface: simple. Its central element is a grid where the source files are listed. There are also a few buttons to add tasks, delete items from the list and start joining files.
You should start by adding files to a list. Unfortunately, they should be added one by one because there is no option to add full folders. Once you have created the list, you can order the items using the buttons on the right. Then, you can start joining the files. I regret to say that the program does not allow to customizing the output conversion profile. Instead, the conversion parameters will automatically set to match the properties of the first video on your list.
In general, AoA Video Joiner is a very limited application. I was expecting it could join multiple files with exactly the same format without re-encoding. This would have allowed it to convert very fast with no quality loss. However, it took a long time to combine the files and there were noticeable losses in video and audio quality. The developers recommend using another of their products to convert the resulting file. The question is: why would I want to use it when there are other applications that can combine and convert in a single session?
